The HWM054 series are front panel mounted single phase electronic active energy meters.

They adopt many advanced technologies of research and development, like microelectronic-techniques, specialized large-scale IC (integrated circuit). digital sampling and processing technology, SMT technique, and so on, Their technical performances completely conform to International Standards IEC 62053-21 for Class 1 single phase active energy meter. They can directly and accurately measure the load active energy consumption in the single phase AC networks of rated frequency 50Hz or 60Hz and used outdoors. The HWM054 series are novel design, reasonable structure, have multiple configurations for option to be suitable with the various market demands. They have features with excellent long-term reliability, small volume, light weight, perfect appearance, easy installation, etc.

Functions and Features

◆ Front panel mounted in 3 points for fixing, the appearance and dimensions are in accordance with Standards BS 7856 and DIN 43857.

◆ The meter cover can be made of high resolution transparent glass. The meter bottom and the terminal cover can be punched out of top quality steel plate and rust proof handling as well. The terminal block can be made from the dampproof, fire-retardant, thermostability and good Bakelite, with the features of good weather resistance, high rigidity and beautiful appearance, etC.

◆ Can select the step motor impulse register of 5+1 digits (99999. 1kWh) or 6+1 digits (999999. 1kWh) LCD display.

◆ Can select the maintenance free lithium battery inside for LCD display to read the meter while the power is cut.

◆ Equipped with a polarity passive energy impulse output terminal, conforming to Standards IEC 62053-31 and DIN 43864.

◆ Standard configuration is only one LED to indicate the energy impulse signal (red). When ordering, you can add the power state (green) and automatic detection for the load current flow direction and will be indicated by LED (LED lighting means reverse current flow).

◆ Measure the active energy consumption in one direction on single phase two wire or single phase three wire, which is not related with the load current flow direction at all, complying with Standards IEC 62053-21.

◆ Direct connection. For single phase two wire, two types of connections: type 1A and type 1B for option, For single phase three wire, the connection is type 2A.

◆ Extended terminal cover for safety use.
