Short Description:

The 8.7/15kV European front plug belongs to the European 630A and 1250A plug series. It is suitable

for the (cross-linked power cable) in and out line terminals of ring main units, and is connected to the

in and out line bushing sockets of the switchgear, the through-wall bushings of the cable distribution

box, and the double-through bushings with bolts. It is also applicable to box-type substation devices. It

provides full insulation and full sealing connection from power cables to switchgear or cable distribution

boxes. The rear plug is connected to the European front plug or another rear plug, providing an extended

cable connection loop (branch) that cannot be directly connected to the casing. The tail can be plugged

directly with an insulation plug, or it can be extended to connect another rear plug cable or rear plug arrester.

When the front plug is working, it is connected to the switchgear bushing socket with bolts; its tail can be

directly blocked with insulating materials, or extended to connect with the rear plug type electrical connector

or rear plug type lightning arrester. The product complies with the C-type bushing design in standards EN50180

& 50181.
