The distribution box is a core device in the power system for realizing the distribution, control and protection of electrical energy, and is widely used in industrial production, commercial buildings, municipal engineering and outdoor facilities and other scenarios. In industrial plants, it provides stable power supply for three-phase equipment such as machine tools, fans and assembly lines. Shopping malls, office buildings and data centers use it to achieve zoned power distribution for lighting, air conditioning and computer room equipment. In outdoor places such as road lighting, construction sites, and charging pile matching, rainproof and corrosion-resistant distribution boxes are often used to ensure safe operation in the open air. In addition, residential communities, factory workshops, and power renovation projects also cannot do without distribution boxes for centralized management to ensure the reasonable distribution of power loads and meet the stable operation requirements of 480V three-phase high-power equipment.
The internal structure mainly adopts a modular layout, mainly including the box body, incoming line unit, distribution unit, protection components and wiring system. The box body is mostly made of cold-rolled steel plate or stainless steel. The outdoor type has a NEMA 3R protection grade, which can prevent rain, dust and foreign objects from entering. The incoming line section is equipped with a main switch, with a common high-current circuit breaker serving as the main control to achieve circuit on-off and overload protection. Internally, electrical energy is distributed through copper busbars. Multiple branch break switches are installed, and each branch is equipped with a circuit breaker to provide short-circuit and overload protection for the branch lines. The box is equipped with neutral wire bars and grounding bars to ensure electrical safety. At the same time, reasonable wiring space is reserved, and the cables are arranged in a standardized manner to reduce interference and fault risks. The overall structure is compact and the protection is reliable. It can not only achieve multi-channel power output but also facilitate quick maintenance and repair, ensuring continuous and stable power supply in various scenarios.
